New RosterApps launch date for Fleet Service, Dispatch Maintenance and related employees

As we mentioned last year, we’re introducing a new online tool for employees to manage their Time & Attendance – RosterApps.

To ensure that all of our systems are aligned for this important launch, American’s Payroll IT team, in coordination with Envoy’s RosterApps team have decided to move the launch date for Fleet Service, Maintenance, Dispatch and related employees to Feb. 15, 2020.

Management employees will still transition to RosterApps on Jan. 16.

What does this mean for me?
Fleet Service, Maintenance, Dispatch and related employees should continue to use our current AutoTA and StaffAdmin systems until the new launch date.

If you’ve already submitted a shift change in RosterApps, you’ll need to re-submit that shift change in our current AutoTA and StaffAdmin systems. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Questions?
A RosterApps guide is available at my.envoyair.com > Finance > Attendance. You can contact the Attendance team by opening a support ticket or calling 844-ENVOY-HR (844-368-6947), option 4, then option 1 to speak to a representative.

Safety on the Ground: New Damage Prevention Reward
Customer Services Team
We talk a lot about safety, and for good reason – it’s our highest priority and at the core of everything we do. It’s what ensures our customers reach their destination without incident and each of us returns home to our family at the end of the workday. And in Customer Services, we play a central role in maintaining a safe airport operation.
Our fast-paced work environment is inherently dangerous – there are lots of people in moving equipment, supporting large and expensive aircraft. Without careful coordination and compliance with procedures, accidents can happen and result in serious injury and/or aircraft damage. We have well-established procedures in place to ensure we operate safely – but it’s up to all of us to follow them.
To reward employees for working safely, we are introducing the Damage Prevention Reward. This new program will reward eligible ground employees $100 every six months when their location experiences no aircraft damages during that six-month period.
Given the size and complexity of our hub operations in Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Chicago (ORD), employees there will receive a $100 payout every six months if there is not more than one damage event during that period.
Here’s how it works:
Eligible Customer Services employees will receive $100 if their station meets their damage prevention goal Jan. 1, 2020 through June 30, 2020.
On July 1, 2020, a new period will begin and continue through Dec. 31, 2020.
You’ll receive your reward payment at the end of the month following each six-month measurement period.
This reward is in addition to our T0 Bonus Plan payments that employees receive quarterly for meeting our monthly T0 goals.
The fine print
Eligible employees include regular full-time and part-time Envoy Customer Services employees in locations where Envoy provides ground handling services (excluding MIA Support Services, Skycaps and EGS employees).
To be eligible, employees must be on payroll at the location being rewarded on June 15 for the first six-month measurement period and Dec. 15 for the second six-month period.
Thank you for all you do to ensure Envoy maintains the safest, most reliable operation – for our customers and each other.
John Jaynes
Senior Vice President, Customer Services

  • Disabling non-travel for outstanding travel charges

Beginning Nov. 6, we’re rolling out a new automated process that will deactivate non-rev travel for team members if their outstanding travel charges are significantly past due. Specifically, if a team member is 45 days past due as of Nov. 6, the new automated process will disable their non-rev travel. The good news is travel for team members and their eligible dependents has been free of charge for the past three years. In fact, team members are only required to pay international fees and taxes for themselves and their eligible dependents and any associated imputed income, where applicable. They’re also responsible for any fees, taxes and imputed income for travel by parents/parents-in-law and guest travelers. The Travel Planner offers several ways for you to pay for travel using either a stored credit/debit card or one-time credit/debit cards.
